At Edinburgh Vineyard we love kids! Here's some of the fun things we run
EV Kids
We want to see our children encounter Jesus and follow him to love, serve and give life to the city. Our vision for the children is no less than for the adults, it’s just played out probably with more balloons, parachute games, singing and dancing!
When? Sunday
The best bit you need to know
Vineyard kids is the best place to be. On Sunday mornings we teach and equip the children to follow Jesus. We love to do that in an environment where the children feel loved, valued and safe. We also love to see them growing in their friendship with the Holy Spirit so you’ll often see some of the kids learning to pray for each other and for the Vineyard Kids team. Everyone gets to play.
Vineyard Kids runs for the full duration of our Sunday Gathering. Children can be signed in from 11am
King’s Table is a play café for the under 5’s and their parents.
Come and have a coffee and a fresh pastry, make friends and enjoy watching your children have a lovely play. Your children are in your sight the whole time and there is no charge for anything.
There is fruit for the children and a chat waiting fo you if you want to talk, or you might even just want to read – imagine that!

The EV Kids Story
Impacting Generations.
In 2022 we received very clear orders from the Lord to invest in children. The instruction is to teach and equip children to follow Jesus. In the vision God gave us, we saw children enjoying friendship with the Holy Spirit, confidently ‘doing the stuff’, joyfully worshipping in tune and out of tune!
We then saw them as young, courageous and confident Kingdom Carriers bringing joy and hope to their parents and families. We then saw the parents and carers, who brought the children to Edinburgh Vineyard encountering the same hope and life that had clearly impacted the children. They then talked to their extended families, friends and neighbours who, in turn, started wanting to know more about Jesus. Young and old started talking about Jesus and gossiping the gospel on the streets, over garden fences, in homes around the area as the Holy Spirit moved.
A key thread that ran through this vision was that the Lord wanted us to do this because it was to impact people in this area for generations and generations to come. It’s a vision that is all about establishing His rule and reign in this area and across Edinburgh for many years to come.
This vision goes way beyond us and our lifetime. In years to come, many people will be following Jesus and bringing life to the city because of us sharing Jesus with children and their parents.
